It is finished!

Whoa! I just got done with my press kit. Wow, that was such an intense assignment. I was up until 11:30 p.m. working on the finishing touches. This morning I went to Kinko's and had everything printed on nice business paper. Simple right? Well, after the associate printed my papers I found margin errors and I accidentally had him print the wrong news release...it was one thing after another, he basically printed fifty million papers for me. After several attempts we fixed the errors and I finally was able to breath at ease knowing that it was all printed, finally. I haven't turned it in yet, 2 p.m. it is due. I can't wait to see what grade I have earned.

**Just two more days until Dustin is officially a college graduate! Friday is his graduation and Saturday is his bar-b-q graduation party. I will definitely be taking a lot of pictures :) Have a nice rest of the week, everyone.

Our first home together ...

Hola,

Here are some pictures of our home. We are slowly decorating. We are both really busy with school and work so we don't have too much time to decorate but we do what we can :)

The first three pictures are our living room. We have an office right when you come in the front door on the right hand side.

Better Late than never!

Here are our 4th of July pics. We had such a great time. We had a bar-b-q, had yummy dessert and watched fireworks downtown.

It's Almost time ...

Exactly two weeks from today my Public Relations Writing class will finally come to an end! This has been one of the most difficult classes I've taken. I have a HUGE project due 2 weeks from today too ... yikes! We have to create a press kit (it's a pre-packaged set of promotional materials prepared for major events and new product launches. Its purpose is to give editors and reporters a variety of information and resources that make writing about the topic easier for the reporter. There are so many things within the press kit and they are very time consuming. We can't make anything up ... no fabricated interviews ... it all has to be factual. This class is only six weeks long so creating all of this with such little time is very stressful to say the least... Don't get me wrong I'm extremely excited for the semester to come to an end because Dustin graduates two weeks from this Friday and I'll start my internship the following Monday!

On a different note, I tried "Zumba" for the first time on Monday night at UNF and it was AMAZING! For those of you that don't know what Zumba is, it's a class full of Latin beats and Latin flavor and the moves are influenced by Latin dances and hip-hop dance. What a work-out ... sweat was literally flying off my face (gross...I know...but I don't typically sweat like that) ... SO find a Zumba near you. Haha

*Prayer Requests*

--Please keep me in prayer, my project counts as 50 percent of my grade ... it's worth 300 pts.

New Happenings ...

What a year it has been so far and it's just getting started! We kicked the year off with our beautiful wedding and next month Dustin graduates UNF with his Bachelor's in Transportation and Logistics. He took a great job offer locally and started May 5th. It's great that he doesn't have to work nights anymore like he had to while working as an Outbound Supervisor at UPS. He is a step higher now at the new company than he was at UPS. For those of you that don't know, Dustin has worked for UPS for the last four years and he wanted to do something different. He's still in the same field he just wanted to learn something new in his field. I love that he has a normal sleeping pattern now and he's not falling asleep on me when we would try to hang out ... bless his heart.

As most of you know I've been in college for quite sometime now ... I was beginning to think attending college was my CAREER. BUT I'm happy to announce that I will be graduating this December, God willing ofcourse. I am a Public Relations major with a minor in Elementary Education. I'm not sure what I want to do just yet. I have landed an internship at Jacksonville Magazine and I will begin August 4 - December 12 or when I reach 210 hours whichever comes first. I'm very excited about my internship there. My main interest is "Event Planning" so I think I will be helping out a lot for the Home and Patio Show and some other events they will have booths at. I also submitted one of our wedding photos about a month ago to Jacksonville Magazine and it should be in either their August or September issue...so be sure to look for it :)

Sorry so late!

Hey everyone I haven't been on here in like 3 months! Danielle reminded me that I still have one of these ... haha. So here's the update ... Dustin and I have been married for almost 2 months now and it's so awesome! God has truly blessed me and has breathed so much life back into me.

The wedding coordinator at Hidden Hills mentioned to me that she put several of our pictures in the Premier Bride Magazine in their Hidden Hills ad. I can't wait to see it! She also put us on the Hidden Hills website ... haha we feel like mini-celebrities. Here are some of our favorite pictures...

This picture will be in Jacksonville Magazine either in their August or September issue
